Inside Sales - Business Development
Responsibilities
Increase revenue by selling Windows, UNIX and VMS software and support services via outbound telephone activity. Recommend potential products or services to prospects by analyzing their needs.
- Sell software, hardware, supplies and services to assigned vertical markets/territories.
- Prospect and sell via out bound telephone activity.
- Follow up and close sales leads from various sources.
- Promote products by suggesting related products; offering quantity discounts or special promotions.
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Submit weekly sales forecasts and prospect lists.
- Maintain "at quota" or "above quota" level of performance.
- Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Pass leads to other ISD sales reps.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Master demonstrations of all appropriate ISD software products.
- Perform tasks and responsibilities in a professional and dignified manner.
Requirements
Must be motivated for sales, work well in a team environment, possess excellent telephone selling skills, have knowledge of software applications and have the ability to prospect/qualify.
Four year college degree in Business or related field required.
